We highly recommend using our templates and guides to prepare your print-ready PDF. | Once you have selected your product options, you can download our guides by clicking on the icon next to the file upload button. Remember to delete the template layers before exporting your design to PDF. If you have a design already, we accept other file formats, such as JPEG, PNG, or EPS. To ensure the best quality of your content, we recommend using specific file formats. For photographic content, we suggest using high-resolution JPEGs without compression. For graphics or text-based content, we recommend using print-ready, vector-based PDFs. If your content is a combination of graphics and photography, we suggest using print-ready PDFs to achieve the best possible quality. |
Save your files in a print-ready format
| Save your files in an uneditable print-ready format such as PDF, TIFF, JPG, EPS) Your files should be flattened to one layer, the background layer, prior to submission. |
Use CMYK as the colour mode. | Make sure to use CMYK instead of RGB as the colour mode. Also, use the colour mode FOGRA39 (ISO Coated v2). If you are not sure about the colour mode of your file, don't worry—we can always convert it for you. However, please keep in mind that converting the colour mode may cause the colours to appear differently from the original file. |
Use the right values for full colour black. | Please note: The material used for a flag is absorbent, causing colours to appear lighter than expected, especially black. Use (Cyan 60, Magenta 40, Yellow 40 & Black 100) for a richer black. |
Add 5 mm bleed. | During production, there may be a slight cut deviation. To avoid any issues, we recommend the following: Add a 5 mm bleed around all edges of your design. Keep essential elements 50 mm away from the edge or folding lines. |
Keep 40 mm safety margin. | Keep all important text and images at least 40 mm away from the edge of the finished size. |
Resolution of at least 150 dpi. | Ensure the resolution of the images and graphics in your artwork are at least 150 dpi. |
Convert fonts to outlines or embed all the fonts. | Make sure you convert fonts to outlines or embed all the fonts when saving them in PDF format. |
Fonts size | Fonts should be at least 12 pt. |
Check your artwork for overprint. | Ensure no elements in your artwork are set on overprint unless you want this effect in your design. |
